Our Story

“Isn't it just so pretty to think that all along there was some invisible string tying you to me”

Zack and Courtney grew up 2.9 miles away from each other but wouldn’t meet and fall in love until they moved out of their hometown of Rancho Cucamonga 25 years later. Zack’s twin sister, Chelsea, cheered on the same team as Courtney in 2006, when Courtney was in seventh grade. Courtney remembers seeing Zack at a few cheer practices and competitions. Oh if only she knew she was looking at her future husband. In time, Chelsea and Chandler, (Courtney’s older sister) became great friends. Would Chandler introduce her 13 year old sister to her friend's cute twin brother? Of course not. Courtney continued on to graduate high school and move to Arizona for college. In 2013, Courtney came home from school for holiday where she found herself at the same New Years Eve party as Zack. Would this be the time, all these years later that they would FINALLY formally introduce themselves to each other? No- though it would have saved them some time. After that night Courtney and Zack wouldn’t be in the same room again for another 8 years. Courtney went back to Arizona and would visit Rancho once or twice a year. Zack and Chelsea’s parents moved to Arizona and Chelsea quickly followed. With Zack being the only one left in Rancho he decided to take a leap of faith and move to Arizona; leaving behind his best of friends and beloved hometown. Fast forward to the beginning of 2020 where Courtney and Zack matched on a dating app. Bewildered, Courtney screen-shotted Zack’s profile and sent it to her sister Chandler “Look who just came up in AZ lol.” Though Courtney & Zack had never been formally introduced, they certainly both knew of each other and recognized each other the second they matched. Courtney instantly reached out to Zack asking what in the world he was doing in Arizona where he explained that his family had moved out 2 years prior and he just made the move himself. Courtney and Zack had their first “quarantine” date on April 22, 2020 and would be together ever since…finally.
